Es un disco que suena auténtico y que hace justicia al sonido de la banda como si “Divided we fall” hubiera sido publicado a finales de la década gloriosa del hardcore, aunque quizás sí se nota demasiada influencia del rap metal.

El disco tiene una producción que, aunque más pulida que en sus inicios, no pierde el filo ni la crudeza. La dualidad vocal entre Evan Seinfeld y Billy Graziadei sigue siendo uno de los sellos más distintivos del grupo, funcionando como un combate verbal.

«Divided We Fall» no pretende reinventar el metal, pero sí volver a traer al presente el sonido tan característico de los Biohazard de los 90, que marcaron escuela y que a tantas bandas influenciaron.

After thirteen years of silence, Biohazard returns with “Divided We Fall,” an album that not only marks the return of its classic lineup, but also reaffirms its place as pioneers of the crossover between New York hardcore and groove metal.

It’s an album that sounds authentic and does justice to the band’s sound, as if “Divided We Fall” had been released at the end of the glorious decade of hardcore, although perhaps there is too much rap metal influence.

The album’s production, although more polished than in their early days, does not lose its edge or rawness. The vocal duality between Evan Seinfeld and Billy Graziadei remains one of the band’s most distinctive hallmarks, functioning as a verbal battle.

“Divided We Fall” does not set out to reinvent metal, but rather to bring back the characteristic sound of Biohazard in the 90s, which set a precedent and influenced so many bands.
