Con el claro propósito de ir desmarcándose de la sombra de su padre, Wolfgang Van Halen ha rebautizado su proyecto MAMMOTH prescindiendo de las siglas WVH en su nuevo disco “The end”.
El multiinstrumentista americana se marca un disco de hard rock de alto voltaje en el que muestra su capacidad como cantante y guitarrista, con temas en los que, inevitablemente, uno piensa en la figura del gran Eddie Van Halen, sobre todo cuando Wolfgang se desata con el tapping a las seis cuerdas, como en el tema que da nombre al disco.
Al margen de la genealogía, “The end” suena a también a otras bandas de hard rock moderno, como ALTER BRIDGE, SEVENDUST o SHINEDOWN. Con esto quiero decir que MAMMOTH nos ofrece lo mejor del hard rock más clásico con los sonidos de las producciones actuales.
Con independencia de apellidos, “The end” es un tremendo disco de hard rock.

With the clear intention of distancing himself from his father’s shadow, Wolfgang Van Halen has renamed his project MAMMOTH, dispensing with the initials WVH on his new album «The End.»
The American multi-instrumentalist has created a high-voltage hard rock album that showcases his skills as a singer and guitarist, with songs that inevitably bring to mind the great Eddie Van Halen, especially when Wolfgang lets loose with his six-string tapping, as in the title track.
Regardless of the genealogy, «The End» also sounds like other modern hard rock bands, such as ALTER BRIDGE, SEVENDUST, and SHINEDOWN. By this I mean that MAMMOTH offers us the best of classic hard rock with the sounds of current productions.
Regardless of surnames, «The End» is a tremendous hard rock album.
