Éste 2025 que ya encara su fin todavía tiene sorpresas que revelar, y es que acaba de publicarse el disco “Traces of gold” de los americanos BASTION ROSE.
El proyecto surge como una apuesta personal de Austin Frink, que mezcla el hard rock, post grunge y post rock en su ladera más oscura y que se basa en experiencias personales encadenadas al duelo y la pérdida.
Los ocho cortes de “Traces of gold” son una oda intimista en los que la armonía atenúa la luz, siendo la voz de Austin la que nos llevará a través de la oscuridad.
La parte instrumental tiene influencias del blues más eléctrico y del sonido de las grandes bandas de los setenta como LED ZEPPELIN en la formulación de las melodías.
“Traces of gold” es la joya escondida de este 2025.

As 2025 draws to a close, it still has surprises in store, with the release of the album «Traces of Gold» by American band BASTION GOLD.
The project is the brainchild of Austin Frink, who blends hard rock, post-grunge, and post-rock in its darkest form, drawing on personal experiences linked to grief and loss.
The eight tracks on Traces of Gold are an intimate ode in which harmony dims the light, with Austin’s voice guiding us through the darkness.
The instrumental part is influenced by electronic blues and the sound of the great bands of the seventies, such as LED ZEPPELIN, in the formulation of the melodies.
«Traces of Gold» is the hidden gem of 2025.
