El grupo de Power – Heavy Metal WARKINGS ha publicado su quinto disco, «Armageddon» con el sello Nuclear Blast.
WARKINGS ofrecen un trabajo que hará las delicias de los que disfrutan de temas épicos con estribillos hechos para corear en directo como si fueran a entrar en la batalla más grande jamás contada.
El sonido no nos va a descubrir nada que no hayamos escuchado antes, no solo en la discografía de los alemanes, sino en el power metal en su conjunto, aunque quizás la parte rítmica sí puede sonar más grave y contundente que en otros grupos del mismo palo y tampoco escucharemos tanta floritura técnica en la ejecución instrumental. Son temas que van al grano desde el principio.
Sinceramente, hay estribillos que siguen resonando en mi cabeza días después de haber escuchado el disco, lo cual es muestra de que «Armagedon» es un trabajo que promete dar excelentes resultados en directo.

The power/heavy metal band WARKINGS has released its fifth album, Armageddon, on the Nuclear Blast label.
WARKINGS offers an album that will delight those who enjoy epic songs with choruses made for singing along to live, as if they were about to enter the greatest battle ever told.
The sound won’t reveal anything we haven’t heard before, not only in the Germans’ discography, but in power metal as a whole, although perhaps the rhythm section does sound heavier and more forceful than in other bands of the same genre, and we won’t hear as much technical flourishing in the instrumental execution. These are songs that get straight to the point from the start.
Honestly, there are choruses that continue to resonate in my head days after listening to the album, which is proof that “Armageddon” is a work that promises to deliver excellent results live.
