BLACK LABEL SOCIETY – Engines of demolition, 2026.

Los que somos fans de Zakk Wylde y de la BLACK LABEL SOCIETY estamos de enhorabuena con la publicación de su último disco “Engines of demolition”. Y como digo, estamos de enhorabuena porque el disco da lo que uno espera de la BLACK LABEL SOCIETY: riffs contundentes, solos trepidantes de la mano de Zakk Wyde.

Y aquí es donde voy a abrir una pequeña polémica, porque este disco me ha gustado ya que el “Doom Crew” y el “Grimest hits” también me gustaron. Es decir, encuentro una serie de patrones rítmicos e incluso armónicos en todos los temas que son bastante parecidos. Es verdad que satisface a los fans porque encuentran lo que buscan, pero echo en falta algún tipo de innovación, ya que está empezando a resultar demasiado familiar y demasiado recurrente.

Así que, aún siendo un disco que va a satisfacer a los oyentes, echo en falta algún tipo de innovación o algún tipo de giro en el sonido general.

Fans of Zakk Wylde and BLACK LABEL SOCIETY are in for a treat with the release of their latest album, “Engines of Demolition.” And as I said, we’re in for a treat because the album delivers exactly what you’d expect from BLACK LABEL SOCIETY: heavy riffs and fast-paced solos from Zakk Wylde.

And this is where I’m going to stir up a little controversy, because I liked this album just as much as I liked “Doom Crew” and “Grimest Hits.” In other words, I find a series of rhythmic and even harmonic patterns in all the tracks that are quite similar. It’s true that it satisfies fans because they find what they’re looking for, but I miss some kind of innovation, since it’s starting to feel too familiar and too repetitive.

So, even though it’s an album that will satisfy listeners, I miss some kind of innovation or a shift in the overall sound.
