ARION – The light that burns the Sky, 2025.

Arion lanza nuevo disco, The Light that Burns the Sky, donde la banda finlandesa realiza un gran trabajo con un primer tema que da nombre al álbum, con ritmos frenéticos y un estribillo muy pegadizo.

Con su segunda canción y realizando la misma estética oscura, potente y con solos de auténtico virtuosismo, la agrupación conseguirá que te quedes escuchando un poco más para encontrar nuevas melodías más tranquilas en otro tema que aunque la letra recuerda a una balada, su sonoridad sigue manteniendo la esencia del disco.

Pronto sentiremos que repiten demasiado la misma estructura de versos, estribillos y solos instrumentales y lo harán hasta el final del disco con algunas variaciones que merecen ser escuchadas como en el tema «Wildfire».

El resultado es álbum con una música muy comercial y fácil de consumir. Mi nota final es un 7 destacando especialmente el tema «The Light That Burns the Sky» y sin ninguna duda, destacando a sus músicos y especialmente a Topias Kupiainen a la batería y a Iivo Kaipainen a la guitarra.

Arion releases a new album, The Light that Burns the Sky, where the Finnish band does a great job with a first song that gives name to the album, with frenetic rhythms and a very catchy chorus.

With their second song and performing the same dark aesthetic, powerful and with solos of authentic virtuosity, the group will make you stay listening a little longer to find new quieter melodies in another theme that although the lyrics reminds us of a ballad, its sonority continues to maintain the essence of the album.

Soon we will feel that they repeat too much the same structure of verses, choruses and instrumental solos and they will do it until the end of the album with some variations that deserve to be heard as in the song «Wildfire».

The result is an album with a very commercial and easy to consume music. My final mark is a 7 highlighting especially the theme «The Light That Burns the Sky» and without any doubt, highlighting their musicians and especially Topias Kupiainen on drums and Iivo Kaipainen on guitar.
