GROZA es una banda que ya ha sonado en Hörns Üp con su black metal depresivo al haber sacado su tercer disco “Nadir”.
GROZA inició su andadura por estas escarpadas tierras del metal extremo como un proyecto en solitario del cantante y multiinstrumentista alemán P.G. (todos los miembros de la banda utilizan siglas como pseudónimo) y en los años sucesivos fue incorporando miembros hasta llegar a su formación actual, lo que les permitió publicar su primer trabajo “Unified in void” en 2016.
Al escuchar los seis temas percibimos las características principales del black metal: trémolo en las guitarras, blast beats en las baterías, pero generan una ambientación más melancólica por medio de las melodías vocales y algunos fragmentos más pausados y acústicos en las guitarras.
Como consolidación de su impacto en el subgénero, cuenta con las colaboraciones de miembros de HARAKIRI FOR THE SKY y KARG en el tema “Daffodils”, que hace de perfecto colofón al álbum.

GROZA is a band that has already sounded in Hörns Üp with their depressive black metal with the release of their third album ‘Nadir’.
GROZA started out in these rugged lands of extreme metal as a solo project of German singer and multi-instrumentalist P.G. (all band members use acronyms as a pseudonym) and in the following years they have been adding members until they reached their current line-up, which allowed them to release their first album ‘Unified in void’ in 2016.
Listening to the six tracks we perceive the main characteristics of black metal: tremolo in the guitars, blast beats in the drums, but they generate a more melancholic atmosphere through the vocal melodies and some slower and acoustic fragments in the guitars.
As a consolidation of their impact in the subgenre, they count with the collaborations of members of HARAKIRI FOR THE SKY and KARG in the track ‘Daffodils’, which is the perfect ending of the album.
