Tommy Johansson, el que fuera guitarrista de SABATON y recientemente encumbrado como youtuber de postín gracias a sus versiones metaleras de clásicos de la música pop, ha retomado su proyecto paralelo MAJESTICA, que siempre estuvo un poco a la sombra de SABATON, habiendo publicado su tercer disco titulado “Power train”.
Aunque este disco sigue dentro del power metal, sí es bastante diferente a lo que hacía con SABATON, pues es mucho más rápido y con partes rítmicas mucho más fluidas. Mantiene esos estribillos épicos que invitan alzar los cuernos y hacernos pensar que nuestra voz puede sonar más alta que los amplificadores de un concierto.
La voz de Tommy sigue en lo más alto, no sólo en registros, sino en capacidad de transmisión de las letras y, por qué no decirlo, de emisión de buen rollo. El disco no es de esos de power metal que tienden a ser sombríos, sino que es bastante brillante.
Aunque hace alguna a alusión las temáticas clásicas del power, las letras se mueven por otros derroteros, lo cual es de agradecer.

Tommy Johansson, the former guitarist of SABATON and recently promoted as a top youtuber thanks to his metal versions of pop music classics, has resumed his side project MAJESTICA, which was always a bit in the shadow of SABATON, having released his third album entitled “Power train”.
Although this album is still within power metal, it is quite different from what he did with SABATON, as it is much faster and with much more fluid rhythmic parts. It keeps those epic choruses that invite us to raise our horns and make us think that our voice can sound louder than the amplifiers of a concert.
Tommy’s voice is still at the top, not only in registers, but also in his ability to transmit the lyrics and, why not say it, to emit a good vibe. The album is not one of those power metal albums that tend to be gloomy, but it is quite bright.
Although it makes some allusions to the classic power themes, the lyrics move in other directions, which is to be appreciated.
