SMITH/KOTZEN – Black light/White noise, 2025.

El proyecto firmado por dos leyendas de la guitarra como son Adrian Smith (IRON MAIDEN) y Ritchie Kotzen (POISON ,WINERY DOGS) ha vuelto con un nuevo trabajo titulado “Black light/White noise”.

Cómo ya pudimos escuchar en su primer trabajo juntos, huyen de los discos repletos de batallas de solos y riffs imposibles, sino que siguen gestando temas increíbles en los que se busca el sonido de conjunto y no la suma de individualidades.

En mi opinión, el sonido final se aproxima más a lo que Kotzen ha hecho en su carrera en solitario que a lo que uno esperaría de la impronta de IRON MAIDEN.

Me sigue sorprendiendo positivamente la vertiente de cantante de Adrian Smith, ya que la Kotzen era sobradamente conocida.

En definitiva, “Black light/White noise” es otro discazo de hard rock de escucha obligada.

The project signed by two guitar legends such as Adrian Smith (IRON MAIDEN) and Ritche Kotzen (POISON ,WINERY DOGS) is back with a new album entitled «Black light/White noise».

As we could already hear in their first work together, they flee from the albums full of battles of solos and impossible riffs, but continue to develop incredible songs in which the sound is sought as a whole and not the sum of individualities.

In my opinion, the final sound is closer to what Kotzen has done in his solo career than what one would expect from IRON MAIDEN’s imprint.

I continue to be positively surprised by Adrian Smith’s singing side, as the Kotzen was more than well known.

All in all, «Black light/White noise» is another great hard rock album that is a must listen.
