El hecho de entrar a escuchar a THY CATAFALQUE es una labor no exenta de riesgos y no apta para todos los oídos. La mezcla y fusión de diversos estilos hace que la propuesta de los húngaros requiera de cierta labor de preparación.
El que dijera que el post metal, el metal progresivo o el avant garde siempre suenan igual lo dice sin haber escuchado a THY CATAFALQUE, pues sus temas pasan de sonar folclore centroeuropeo, como a sonar a black metal nórdico, con increíbles cambios dentro del mismo tema.
Su último trabajo no es una excepción, llevando el contraste un paso más allá, sonando más vanguardista si cabe, y como toda vanguardia, no es ajena a las voces dispares sobre su sonoridad.
Si os hablo de ella, es porque es digna de escucha por salirse de lo establecido y de lo que nuestros oídos están acostumbrados a escuchar.

Listening to THY CATAFALQUE is a risky task and not suitable for all ears. The mixture and fusion of different styles makes the Hungarian band’s proposal require a certain amount of preparation.
Whoever said that post metal, progressive metal or avant garde always sound the same is saying it without having listened to THY CATAFALQUE, because their songs go from sounding like Central European folklore, to sounding like Nordic black metal, with incredible changes within the same song.
Their latest work is no exception, taking the contrast a step further, sounding more avant-garde if possible, and as any avant-garde, it is not alien to the disparate voices on its sonority.
If I am talking about it, it is because it is worth listening to because it goes out of the established and what our ears are used to listen to.
