Los alemanes LORD OF THE LOST han lanzado la tercera entrega de su trilogía “Opvs noir”. Temía que intentar seguir con esa trilogía pudiera empezar a dar muestras de agotamiento, pero al final creo que han puesto un muy buen broche final, que temas que seguro pasarán a formar parte de su setlist habitual en sus conciertos, como el pegadizo “I hate people”.
Saben combinar partes de metal industrial con matices góticos y oscuros sin que el clímax de los estribillos se vea mermado.
El ambicioso proyecto “Opvs noir” ha dado su cierre con uno de los mejores discos de su carrera.

Interestingly, one of the bands I listen to most often hadn’t been mentioned in any HUP reviews.
The German band LORD OF THE LOST has released the third installment of their “Opvs noir” trilogy. I was worried that trying to continue with this trilogy might start to feel like a stretch, but in the end, I think they’ve put a really great finishing touch on it—with tracks that are sure to become part of their regular concert setlist, like the catchy “I hate people.”
They know how to blend industrial metal elements with gothic and dark undertones without diminishing the impact of the choruses.
The ambitious “Opvs noir” project has come to a close with one of the best albums of their career.
