Los suecos DEGREED han publicado un disco que ya ha ido sonando poco a poco en HUP. Se trata del “Curtains calls”, el que puede ser uno de los mejores o el mejor disco de la banda.
El aspecto principal que ha destacado ha sido el sonido obtenido en la producción, que permite que los temas se mueven desde el hard rock melódico hasta temas más enfocados al metal moderno. Incluso hay temas que me tienen una personalidad muy “garage”.
Comparto la opinión de la banda que durante la promoción del disco han dicho que este es el disco más duro de su carrera, pero estando muy presente la melodía. Creo que no se puede definir mejor.
“Curtains calls” es un disco que puede gustar, no sólo a los seguidores del hard rock melódico, sino incluso a oyentes que se mueven por sonidos más duros gracias a la contundencia de las guitarras y toda la parte instrumental.

The Swedish band DEGREED has released an album that has been gradually gaining traction on HUP. It’s called “Curtains Calls,” and it might just be one of the band’s best albums—if not the best.
The main aspect that stands out is the sound achieved in the production, which allows the tracks to range from melodic hard rock to songs more focused on modern metal. There are even tracks that have a very “garage” feel to them.
I share the band’s opinion—during the album’s promotion, they’ve said this is the hardest album of their career, yet melody remains very much present. I don’t think it could be described any better.
“Curtains Calls” is an album that will appeal not only to fans of melodic hard rock, but also to listeners who prefer heavier sounds, thanks to the forcefulness of the guitars and the entire instrumental arrangement.
