Ayer salió publicado uno de los que están llamados a ser discos del año, y nuevamente el death metal melódico es el género en el que se están gestando parte de las obras maestras de los últimos años.
ARCH ENEMY descargan su decimosegundo trabajo “Blood dynasty” y siguen haciendo lo que tanto me gusta de ellos: los cambios de atmósferas dentro de un mismo tema, en el que pasan de las partes más agresivas y feroces, a las frases melódicas que pocos saben aunar con tanta clase como los suecos.
Todos los adelantos se han llevado una buena cascada de cervezas por parte de nuestros oyentes, pero creo que los que escuchen nuevos temas como “A million Suns” o “The pendulum” terminarán por inundar a este álbum.
Uno de los aspectos que más me han gustado es como poco a poco van explotando la capacidad de Alissa White-Gluz en el registro limpio, como hace en la versión de BLASPHEME “Vive Libre” (el primer tema interpretado en francés por la banda) o en “Illuminate the path”.
Que es uno de los discos del año, eso creo que nadie lo discutirá. Ahora sólo queda saber cómo de alto quedará en el top. ¿Tú dónde lo pondrías?

Yesterday was released one of the albums that are called to be the albums of the year, and once again melodic death metal is the genre where some of the masterpieces of the last years are being created.
ARCH ENEMY unload their twelfth album «Blood dynasty» and continue doing what I like so much about them: the changes of atmospheres within the same song, in which they go from the most aggressive and ferocious parts to the melodic phrases that few know how to combine with so much class as the Swedes.
All the previews have taken a good cascade of beers from our listeners, but I think that those who listen to new songs like «A million Suns» or «The pendulum» will end up flooding this album.
One of the aspects that I liked the most is how they are gradually exploiting Alissa White-Gluz’s ability in the clean register, as she does in the version of BLASPHEME «Vive Libre» (the first song performed in French by the band) or in «Illuminate the path».
That it is one of the albums of the year, I don’t think anyone will argue that. Now it only remains to know how high it will be in the top. Where would you put it?
