FALLING FROM GRACE ha lanzado su segundo LP bajo el título de “At The Edge”, el cual me ha parecido una auténtica joya para aquellos a los que les guste un groove metal como el de LAMB OF GOD.
En el sonido de los diez cortes de este disco se perciben las influencias de los finlandeses más allá del groove, con notas procedentes del thrash y del metalcore en la parte instrumental.
Las baterías y el bajo forman un colchón grave sobre el que pueden reposar las guitarras mientras ejecutan auténticos trabalenguas de notas en sus riffs, pero tocadas con una enorme precisión técnica.
Gran parte de la calidad final del disco viene de una producción impoluta, que permite que cada nota suene nítida y no se pierda definición.
“At The Edge” puede ser uno de los mejores discos que han salido de groove en los últimos años.

FALLING FROM GRACE has released their second LP under the title of «At The Edge», which I found to be a real gem for those who like groove metal like LAMB OF GOD.
In the sound of the ten tracks of this album you can perceive the influences of the Finns beyond the groove, with notes coming from thrash and metalcore in the instrumental part.
The drums and bass form a low cushion on which the guitars can rest while they execute authentic tongue twisters of notes in their riffs, but played with an enormous technical precision.
Much of the final quality of the album comes from a flawless production, which allows each note to sound crisp and not lose definition.
«At The Edge» may be one of the best groove albums to come out in recent years.
