Cuando una banda novel quiere adentrarse en el death metal melódico sabe de antemano que no va ser una tarea fácil, ya que estamos ante un subgénero colmado de bandas y con pioneros que aún siguen en liza y que están dado muy buenos discos en los últimos años.
Ante este panorama desafiante, VILT se atreve a lanzar su álbum de debut “Divine intervention” con un resultado más que prometedor.
Aunque es evidente que no inventan nada nuevo, nadie puede discutir que el resultado sea un disco sólido y bien elaborado, con precisión técnica, riffs elaborados y una producción moderna que refuerza la claridad instrumental.
Sin perjuicio de ello, algunas composiciones parecen debatirse entre una orientación más técnica y otra más directa, lo que genera cierta sensación de dispersión, lo cual me parece lógico en un álbum de debut, en el que la banda aún está definiendo su voz y estilo.
En definitiva, “Divine intervention” es un prometedor debut, en el que VILT demuestra poseer las herramientas necesarias para convertirse en un nombre relevante dentro de la nueva generación del metal extremo melódico.

When a new band wants to break into melodic death metal, they know from the start that it won’t be an easy task, since this is a subgenre packed with bands and pioneers who are still going strong and have been releasing excellent albums in recent years.
Faced with this challenging landscape, VILT dares to release their debut album “Divine Intervention” with a more than promising result.
Although it’s clear they aren’t breaking new ground, no one can dispute that the result is a solid, well-crafted album, featuring technical precision, intricate riffs, and modern production that enhances the clarity of the instrumentation.
