Procedentes del norte de Finlandia, SLOW FALL han publicado su tercer y nuevo LP “Blood eclipse”, en el cual podemos percibir cómo han tomado lo mejor de cada una de las vertientes del metal extremo nórdico en un sólo trabajo, e incluso claras referencias al metal progresivo.
De ésta forma, hay pasajes que nos recuerdan a SCAR SYMMETRY o AMORPHIS en la combinación de voces limpias y guturales, a EVERGREY en ciertos riffs y melodías o a los años gloriosos de OPETH.
Como digo, han tomado lo mejor de cada rama, las cuales confluyen en un sólido tronco, dando a un excelente trabajo que ya llamó poderosamente mi atención en el primer single que sonó en HUP.
“Blood eclipse” hace justicia a las bandas de las han tomado la inspiración, creando un excelente disco dentro de la linea ascendente de SLOW FALL.

Hailing from the north of Finland, SLOW FALL have released their third and new LP «Blood eclipse», in which we can perceive how they have taken the best of each one of the Nordic extreme metal trends in a single work, and even clear references to progressive metal.
In this way, there are passages that remind us of SCAR SYMMETRY or AMORPHIS in the combination of clean and guttural vocals, EVERGREY in certain riffs and melodies or the glorious years of OPETH.
As I say, they have taken the best of each branch, which converge in a solid trunk, giving an excellent work that already drew my attention powerfully in the first single played on HUP.
«Blood eclipse» does justice to the bands they have taken inspiration from, creating an excellent album within the ascending line of SLOW FALL.
