Si justo hace unos días estábamos hablando de la buena añada que fue 2025 para el AOR, justo la banda danesa BOYS FROM HEAVEN ha lanzado su tercer disco “The wanderer” y no me ha podido generar mejores sensaciones.
Los temas tienen unas melodías en las que te sumerges enseguida, comenzando a tararearlas inmediatamente. Gracias a la cadencia contenida más subiendo poco a poco hasta el momento álgido del tema sin sobresaltos.
Lo más destacable del disco es la forma en la que tratan el manejo de la parte instrumental, pues el virtuosismo no se exhibe, sino que se sugiere, al igual que hicieron grandes bandas como TOTO, lo que genera un resultado de una elegancia exquisita.
“The wanderer” es uno de esos discos que escuchas sin interrupción y por muchas veces que lo escuches, siempre sabrá a poco.

Just a few days ago we were talking about what a great year 2025 has been for AOR, and now the Danish band BOYS FROM HEAVEN has released their third album, “The Wanderer,” and it couldn’t have left me with a better impression.
The songs have melodies that draw you in right away, making you start humming along immediately. Thanks to the restrained rhythm that gradually builds up to the song’s climax without any sudden jolts.
The most remarkable aspect of the album is how they handle the instrumental parts; virtuosity isn’t flaunted but rather hinted at, much like great bands such as TOTO did, resulting in exquisite elegance.
“The Wanderer” is one of those albums you listen to nonstop, and no matter how many times you hear it, you’ll always want more.
